About the event
GCL presents the Bay Area Quiz Competition and Bollywood Antakshri.
A quiz competition for children from grades 3-5 and Antakshri for Adults who love Bollywood!!
Categories for the quiz questions include:
Current events
Science
Movies
Politics
Sports
All finalists will receive a medal and top 3 finishers will earn a trophy.
The event will take place at Qualcomm Cafeteria, Bldg-B, 3165 Kifer Rd, Santa Clara 95051).
Pre-eliminations of the elementary quiz will be held from 10:00-11:30 and the finals will be from 12:00-12:45.
Tickets can be bought online or at the door at www.globalcomputerliteracy.org. We recommend finding a partner to sign up with. Minimum quiz team size is 2 and Antakshri team minimum size is 3. If you dont have a partner, we'll do our best to pair up with individual entries (best effort only). The price is $18 per entry for early bird registration (till 10/25/18), $20 per entry regular price (10/26/18 to 12/9/18). Registration at the door on the day of the event is $25. 100% of the proceeds going to help support schools funded by GCL (more information in "Projects").
